In the 21st Century, it's important to teach the skills today's girls need to succeed. As Georgia’s largest youth serving nonprofit organization, Girl Scouts is taking on the issues that are essential to making sure Greater Atlanta continues to thrive. Did you know that the metro area has more than 29,000 job openings paying an average salary of $59,778 that require STEM skills? Many of these are going unfilled due to a lack of qualified candidates. Through the programs we offer, such as our STEM Expo, Mad Science Camps and Robotics teams, Girl Scouts is actively preparing girls for careers in these fields. This will allow Atlanta to be a world-class hub for technology and innovation.
